Stay Alert

8/30/2020

Last week, we started our exploration of what it means to be a winsome warrior when things are not going your way. We left Paul still under arrest after two years. What finally caused him to change course and demand to go to Caesar? That's what we will look at this week as we explore "Appealing the Case" at 10 am live or on our livestream!

Stay Faithful

8/23/2020

When we took a break from our series in Acts just before Easter, we left Paul under arrest and trying to make his case before the religious council. Now, Paul has to make his case before the civil authorities. Over the next several weeks, we will see how Paul remained a faithful witness even in the midst of great difficulties and trials as God used a variety of means to get Paul to Rome. Much like we face difficulties today in sharing our faith, we will see that remaining faithful makes all the difference. Be sure and join us Sunday as we explore how we can "Stay Faithful" to our Gospel call even in the most difficult of circumstances - or you can watch our livesteam at 10 am!

Now What?

8/16/2020

Over the past several weeks, we've addressed the issues that Peter saw in the early church on how they should wait for the return of Christ. This epistle is timeless because as of this writing, we are still waiting. How should we spend our days waiting? Join us this week to find out the answer to "Now What?" or you can watch our livesteam at 10 am!

Why Delay?

8/9/2020

Note: Due to a technical issue, we have audio only this week. We apologize for those who tried to watch the livestream. We have identified the issue and it should be fixed for next week. We thank you for your patience.
One of the biggest questions I've always had is why didn't Jesus just set up his eternal Kingdom right away. I'm not alone, mind you, because the disciples asked a similar question in Acts 1:6 when they asked if Jesus was now going to set up his kingdom. Why would Jesus delay in setablishing his kingdom on earth?

Our text this week explains exactly why. I can't wait to share with you the reason this weekend because it makes God and the gospel even more glorious than they were before. Be sure and join us Sunday as we explore "Why Delay?" this Sunday and find out why God's delay is further proof of his great and gracious love!

Your Own Personal Jesus

8/2/2020

One of the key questins we should ask when dealing with false teachers is what is their motive. Why do they want to distort the life giving power of the gospel? This week, we'll explore the third chapter of 2 Peter and find out why the false teachers dismissed Peter's teaching about Jesus and instead made up their own. The troubling part is we are prone to do the same in our own lives. Be sure and join us Sunday as we explore "Your Own Personal Jesus" this Sunday and why it is so dangerous - or you can watch our livesteam at 10 am!
