Now that Christmas is over, perhaps unlike any year before in our lifetimes, we eagerly look forward to the New Year. However, if we don't put in the work, while our circumstances may change in '21, odds are good we won't see a significantly different outcome. Sunday we start a new sermon series on "Holy Habits" and the need to live a disciplined life. We'll see you (in person or online) Sunday at 10 am!
Sunday we left our time with the wise men heading out to find Jesus. What happens when they do? On this Christmas Eve, the message of "Rejoicing in Jesus" is needed more than ever. I hope you can join us either in person or online as we celebrate the birth of our beloved Savior Jesus Christ!
There are many myths and misunderstandings about the Kings or wise men who came to find Jesus. However, what is striking about our text this week isn't what it teaches us about the wise men but how much is teaches us about those who look for Jesus and those who don't. This week, we'll continue our Christmas sermon series in Matthew as we see how "Looking for Jesus" makes all the difference. We'll see you (in person or online) Sunday at 10 am!
We often hear about Mary at Christmas time and we certainly hear about Jesus. We hear about shepherds and wise men. But one person in all of this that we often overlook is Joseph. This week, we'll continue our Christmas sermon series in Matthew by exploring this important person's part in the Christmas narrative as we learn how to "Listen For Jesus". We'll see you (in person or online) Sunday at 10 am!
This week our time in God's Word will accomplish two things. First, we'll start our Christmas Sermon Series as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Jesus' birth. Second, we'll figure out that Genealogy at the beginning of Matthew's Gospel is there for. Want to know more? We'll see you (in person or online) Sunday at 10 am!
