Even as I ponder the text for this week's sermon, I can't help but consider the passing of Mary Borst who went to be with Jesus this past week. And as I consider this, I know she is with Jesus but as I consider her life, I know she had a relationship with him for much longer than when she finally met him. Too often we think of a relationship with Christ as something that happens only when we die. But that is not how Paul viewed it. This week, we will continue our look at our identity in Christ by looking at how from before the foundation of the world, God had planned the adoption for all those who would trust in Him. Salvation is all about relationship and relationship as sons! ![]()
